This Lyon-based buying group brings together more than 60 member companies and around fifty approved suppliers in refrigeration, air conditioning and professional kitchen equipment. Its website and management application ran on a monolithic proprietary framework that had become a brake: membership applications, annual supplier agreements, revenue declarations, year-end rebate calculations, document management — all of it had to be rethought.

MEKANO is a development studio based in Lyon. We design, build and maintain the management applications of SMEs, mid-market companies and buying groups — organisations running critical processes without an in-house IT department to steer a large software programme.
Our work starts where the existing tool stops: a monolithic ERP whose vendor no longer answers, an abandoned proprietary product, a pile of spreadsheets only two people know how to use. We take those processes, model them with your teams, and replace them in batches — without a big bang.
Our development team is AI-augmented. That is not our product, it is how we work: it is what lets us commit to fixed prices on scopes many others will only quote on a time-and-materials basis.
